Maybe it’s the holiday weekend. Maybe it’s the school year coming to an end. Or maybe it’s just because we all have summer fever and are spending our time outside. Mother’s Day is next Sunday, May 9, 2010. I am still on the fence on what to get my wonderful mom and what not so subtle hints to give my husband on what I want.
One of the issues this year is budget. Yes, the recession means less bling for me. I would love an iPad but the only way I am getting one for Mother’s Day is if I win one. I like to get a massage too but can’t afford one unless I find a great deal. Same with getting a wonderful yellow roses, we can’t afford them. So whats a wonderful mom on a budget to do?

D Best Of is excited to be part of the celebration of Latinas and Hispanic culture at the Social Fiesta at BlogHer ‘10 on Thursday, August 5th. It will be a great chance to mingle with bloggers that we haven’t seen in a while and meet those we haven’t meet in person.
